Visiting the website
Pages and assets are served through Cloudflare. Its hosting and security services process technical request information such as IP addresses and request logs. We do not add advertising networks. On public reading pages, optional Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate visits after you choose to allow it. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled. The journal, saved readings, search, prayer-request page, and guided-prayer tool do not load Analytics. Our configured page addresses and referrers omit query strings and fragments.

You can decline Analytics and keep using every resource. Your choice is saved in this browser; browser privacy signals are respected.
Your journal, saved readings, and progress
These tools use your browser’s local storage. Entries are not sent to EyesClose, encrypted, or synced across devices. Anyone who can use the same browser profile may be able to read them. You can export or delete journal entries using the journal controls. Clearing browser data removes local entries, preferences, and progress.
Search and reading aloud
Search runs in your browser using a public search index. Search terms may appear in the page URL and normal hosting request logs; avoid entering private information. Read-aloud uses voices supplied by your browser or operating system; some voices may use their provider’s online service. No microphone is requested and no audio is recorded by EyesClose.
Email, donations, and newsletters
Email links open your own mail app. PayPal, Patreon, and Substack process information under their own privacy policies when you visit them. There are no embedded donation, email signup, or social tracking widgets here.
