Reflect

Paul places prayer and thanksgiving within a shared life of care, patience, and discernment. Gratitude can coexist with grief. You do not need to call an injustice good in order to notice a gift.

A question to sit with

What small good thing did you almost miss?

Pray

Father, help me notice Your gifts without denying what is painful. Teach me to give thanks truthfully. Amen.

Carry it into the day

Thank someone for one specific act of kindness.
